With El-P announcing that indie label Definitive Jux was going on hiatus, the homieVega went ahead and put together a massive compilation of some of his personal favorite Def Jux tracks. Featuring the likes of Cage, Aesop Rock, Cannibal Ox, El-P, Camu Tao, RJD2, Mr. Lif, Murs & 9th Wonder, C-Rayz Walz and many more. Damn, looking at the tracklist I’m reminded of how many classic records this crew has put out there.

Jay Elect joins The Roots on stage at their 6th Annual Grammy Jam at the Key Club in Los Angeles to perform Exhibit C.

Due to the fact that he couldn’t clear a sample on this to use for The Great Escape, Budden decided to let loose of one of his favorite songs via Twitter. I wonder if/when these two are ever going to record a whole project together.
